System Director Laboratory

The System Director of Laboratory manages the departmental operations and personnel management.
The director must be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards and maintain the departmental policies and procedures in support of these standards and other organizational initiatives.
Coordinates the laboratory Quality Control, Proficiency Testing and inventory programs.

ExemptMinimum Work Experience5 years of experience in a hospital setting1-2 years of supervisory experience is preferredRequired SkillsCurrent Licensure:
MT, ASCP, HEW, NCACurrent BLS Certification through American Heart AssociationAbility to organize and integrate program components related to Laboratory ServicesStrong skills in the area of Laboratory Services.
Also, the ability to competently perform procedures as necessaryStrong interpersonal and team facilitating skillsSolid verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively with administration, physicians, nursing staff, and all other customers of the hospital systemMust be knowledgeable regarding laws, certifications, and regulations related to Laboratory Services Recommended Skills Administration Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Basic Life Support Communication Hardworking And Dedicated Human Resources Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
